After defeating Penn State 27-24 on Saturday, the Michigan State Spartans finally started to get some respect as they jumped all the way to No. 13 in the AP Top 25 poll.

But apparently, the Las Vegas sportsbooks are not quite ready to anoint the Spartans at the top dog in the Big Ten in advance of their matchup this Saturday in Columbus against the Ohio State Buckeyes.

*BEFORE READING FURTHER, WHAT DO YOU THINK THE POINT SPREAD WILL BE FOR THIS GAME?

OK, do you have a number in your head? If so, continue reading.

According to the Wynn Las Vegas, the Buckeyes are currently listed as a hefty 16-point favorite over Michigan State. If that spread is not surprising enough, how about considering the line opened as OSU -14. That’s right, enough people bet on Ohio State out of the gate that the line increased two full points in less than an hour of being released.

So, Spartan Nation, is your team going to shock the world yet again? Or does Vegas have this number correct?

But not all of them.

When play finally resumed, there was still a group of Spartans faithful who stayed to cheer on their team and it all paid off.
