Once again, that time of year is upon us – it’s time for the NFL Draft. It’s the annual rite of passage that gives a short glimmer of hope to long-suffering Detroit Lions fans that their beloved team will bring in talent to get them over the hump. Round 1 of the Draft begins Thursday night. Rounds 2 and 3 are Friday at 7 p.m. Rounds 4, 5, 6 and 7 are Saturday at noon.
This year, the Draft will be held at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Lions fans will be hoping that their team can deliver a knockout selection in the land of Rocky.

How to Watch: The Draft officially kicks off at 8:00 PM ET on ESPN. Fans also have the option of streaming the Draft online, or viewing it via WatchESPN on their mobile device. NFL Network will also carry the event.

What time do the Lions make their selection? Fox Sports has estimated that based on last season’s broadcast, the Lions will make the 21st overall selection at 10:45 PM. In Round 1, each team will have 10 minutes to make their selection. In Round 2, the selection time is reduced to seven minutes, and then five minutes for Rounds 3 to 6. Finally, Round 7 selections are every four minutes.
