On Thanksgiving Day, the Detroit Lions will host the Houston Texans in a game that has a lot less meaning than it could have had if the Lions handled their business on Sunday against the Carolina Panthers.

That being said, the Lions could get a boost on Thursday as they have four players who are eligible to be removed from short-term IR.
Those players, as pointed out by Erik Schlitt of Lions Wire, are Trey Flowers, Julian Okwara, Darryl Roberts, and Hunter Bryant. Flowers and Okwara are both critical pieces of the Lions defense and they would be welcome additions against the Texans.
