A season riddled with injuries for the Lions just got a little bit worse. In a span of three plays, the Lions lost defensive lineman Da’shawn Hand and Ezekiel Ansah. Hand is questionable to return with a knee injury and Ansah was immediately ruled out after injuring the same shoulder he’s battled all year.

These two injuries are the latest in a slew of injuries on the offensive and defensive sides of the ball that include Marvin Jones Jr, Kerryon Johnson, Devon Kennard, and Kerry Hyder. Matthew Stafford was also questionable this week with back issues but was able to suit up for Sunday’s game against the Cardinals.
It has been a tale of two half seasons so far for the Lions and the additional injuries don’t make it any easier.
