When Michigan travels to Bloomington this week to take on Indiana, they will be hoping to rebound from Saturday’s 14-10 loss to Michigan State.
Though credit should certainly be given to the Spartans for the way they came out and played, the most deciding factor in the game was the Wolverines five turnovers. Three of those turnovers came via John O’Korn interceptions as he looked lost for most of the evening.
Following the conclusion of the game, even soon if you were following along on Twitter, many fans started calling for redshirt freshman quarterback Brandon Peters to replace O’Korn behind center.
On Monday, Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh announced to the media that O’Korn would start once again this coming Saturday against Indiana.

Harbaugh told media that he is not frustrated with his team, despite losing to MSU on Saturday. The loss dropped Michigan’s record under him to 1-2 against the Spartans, including 0-2 at the Big House.

“It is what the record is,” Harbaugh said. “Well aware of what the record is against Michigan State and Ohio State, we’re 1-4. The record against all other opponents is 23-3. We know what the records are. We want to win those games. We want to every game we play. We want to win them all, and most importantly, we want to win this one. We want to win our next game.”

It was not Okorn’s fault; My god MSU had 3 – 4 men in the backfield about every play; Not sure where the linemen were?
It was a poorly played game. Youth will do that. I am surprised, though. Hang in there faithful.
