The Detroit Tigers have hired a new manager and it’s none other than former Minnesota Twins skipper, Ron Gardenhire.
There is no question about it that Gardenhire brings to the table a great knowledge of baseball, but he also brings a passion for the game that is tough to match. He is a manager who will not put up with any crap from his players, and at the same time, he is always there to back them up when they need it.
During his time in baseball, the 59-year-old Gardenhire has let his passion get the best of him plenty of times and you can be sure he will do the same in a Tigers uniform.
