Check out what he had to say via King’s Football Morning in America:
“Today, I talked to coach [Matt] Patricia and the staff with the Lions. On those calls, we talk ball, their scheme, watch film, talk about my upbringing, my journey at Alabama, how I fit in their team, what I’m doing with my money to make sure I take care of it. We get to know each other a little bit. I want to make them feel comfortable with me as a person.”
Last season, he put up 6.5 sacks as well as 11 tackles for loss. According to his prospect profile on NFL.com, he’s projected to be a starter within his first two years in the NFL.
He finished his collegiate career with 58 tackles (14.5 for loss), eight sacks, three passes defended and a forced fumble in 26 games.
