Former Detroit Tigers double-play duo Alan Trammell and Lou Whitaker are meant to be in the Baseball Hall of Fame together.
Yet, thanks to some clueless voters, Whitaker got some bad news on Sunday night when the 2020 HOF class was announced.

According to a report, after finding out he was not voted into the Hall of Fame, Whitaker called Trammell and his former wingman had some encouraging words.
“It's going to happen,” Trammell said. “I wish it would have happened this time but I feel strongly that it's just a matter of when.”

It is baffling that Whitaker is not already in the Baseball Hall of Fame but hopefully in time he will be.
