If you happened to watch the entire Detroit Lions game vs. the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, you saw one of the most epic Lions’ drives in franchise history.
With the Lions trailing 22-16, Matthew Stafford led the offense straight down the field before finally finding T.J. Hockenson in the endzone to tie the game 22-22. After an unsportsmanlike penalty on the Lions for excessive celebration, Matt Prater connected on a 48-yard extra point to seal the deal 23-22.
Following the game, Hall of Fame running back Barry Sanders took to Twitter to weigh-in.
We agree, Barry!
Love the way we are finding ways to win close ones https://t.co/pBEzWhZ9qm
