NFC Championship Game
If the Lions make it all the way to the NFC Championship Game, they will face either the New York Giants, Green Bay Packers, or the Atlanta Falcons. Green Bay is absolutely on fire, but they will not be able to get it done in Atlanta against the No. 2 seed Falcons.
This would be the perfect scenario for the Lions as they would avoid games which would likely be played in very cold weather. Instead, Detroit would get a shot against Matt Ryan and the Falcons indoors. Atlanta is phenomenal on offense, but their defense leaves something to be desired. Just imagine, Matty Ice vs. Matty Comeback for a chance at a Super Bowl Championship!
Super Bowl LI
Let’s face it, if the Lions do make it to the Super Bowl, the entire state of Michigan will shut down. This seems VERY unlikely at this point, but like I said earlier, you cannot win the lotto if you don’t have a ticket.
If the Lions do pull off what would be three consecutive upsets on the road, they will likely face Tom Brady and the New England Patriots for the Super Bowl Championship. This would not be the first time a No. 6 seed ran the table, claiming a Super Bowl Championship, why not OUR Detroit Lions?
