Michigan Wolverines head coach Juwan Howard won’t be facing any further discipline following his ejection this afternoon against Maryland.
Howard, who had to be restrained, was issued two technical fouls and removed from the game. Afterwards, he stated that he was responding to Maryland head coach Mark Turgeon:
“Juwan I’m not going to let you talk to me! You don’t talk to me ever again!” Howard said Turgeon then charged at him.
“I was raised by grandma and by Chicago,” Howard said. “When a guy charges you, you go into defense mode… When he charged me, I reacted.”
Big Ten Commissioner Kevin Warren later announced that “no further action” would be taken stemming from the incident.

If a white coach said to a black coach “I’ll f*cking kill you” he would be suspended immediately and probably forced to resign.
