We’re in!
Thanks to the New York Giants defeating the Washington Redskins on Sunday afternoon, OUR Detroit Lions have clinched a berth in the NFL Playoffs.
Now it’s time to take care of their own business as the Lions take on the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football. The winner will claim the NFC North Division Championship and will earn a first-round bye in the playoffs. If the Lions can pull off the victory, they will host a playoff game for the first time ever at Ford Field. It would also mark the first time Detroit hosted a playoff game since January 8th, 1994 when they lost to the Packers 28-24 after beating them in the final week of the regular season 30-20 to win the NFC Central.
What do you think, Nation? Will the Lions get it done against the Packers and reward their fans with a home playoff game? Or will Aaron Rodgers and the Packers have the last laugh once again?
