On Sunday, the Detroit Lions will host Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers at Ford Field. As we know, Rodgers is one of the best signal callers in the NFL and the Lions will need all of the help they can get on the defensive side of the football if they want to slow down the Packers offense.
Well, according to a report from Ian Rapoport, safety Quandre Diggs, who was removed from Sunday’s loss to the Cowboys with an injury, suffered a fractured bone in his hand and could miss some time.
Diggs has 12 tackles and two passes defended over his first four games of the season.
In early September, the Lions signed Diggs to a 3-year extension worth $18.6 million.

On his first carry of Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys, Detroit Lions rookie Kerryon Johnson ran for 32 yards. Following that, he had just nine more touches for the remainder of the game.
Instead of Johnson carrying the workload, the Lions coaching staff decided to give LeGarrette Blount almost an equal part of the job. On seven carries, Blount rushed for a grand total of 12 yards and he did not look good doing so.
When asked about why Johnson was not getting more touches, Lions’ head coach Matt Patriciagave what can only be called a “sorry” excuse.

“Again, start, not start depends on personnel groups, who’s in the game, things like that,” Patricia responded. “It doesn’t matter who’s in the game, whoever’s not in the game.”
