When it rains it pours.

With the Detroit Lions already trailing the New Orleans Saints 31-10 in the third quarter of Sunday afternoon’s game, what was already bad got worse when safety Glover Quin took a knee to the head and was forced to leave the game.

As soon as A’Shawn Robinson’s kneed connected with Quin’s head, he looked to lose consciousness.

Luckily, the Lions have their bye week next week, but if they are forced to be without Quin for an extended amount of time it would be a HUGE loss. According to Pro Football Focus, Quin is the highest-graded safety in the NFL this season.
