Kansas City earned their second straight trip to the championship game with tonight’s AFC title game victory over the Buffalo Bills at Arrowhead Stadium. Despite falling into a quick 9-0 hole, Kansas City’s explosive offense would soon take over, winning by a 38-24 final score.
Reigning MVP Patrick Mahomes was no worse for wear after suffering an injury in last weeks’ game, going 29/38 with three touchdowns and 325 yards. Meanwhile, Buffalo’s Josh Allen countered by going 28/48 with 287 yards and two touchdowns.
The Bills were able to make things interesting late in the 4th quarter that saw some chippiness between both sides, but couldn’t muster enough attack to overtake their hosts.
