Detroit Lions HC Matt Patricia confirms huge report, Everson Griffen is coming to town

On Tuesday, news broke that the Detroit Lions had traded the Dallas Cowboys for DE Everson Griffen.

Just moments ago, Matt Patricia spoke with the media and he confirmed that Griffen is now a Detroit Lions.

When asked about the decision to trade for Griffen, Patricia said though he is excited, he will hold off talking about it more until next week when Griffen will be available to play in his first game with the Lions.

That first game just so happens to be in two weeks and it is against his former team, the Minnesota Vikings.
