Moments after the Detroit Lions lost to the Indianapolis Colts 41-21 on Sunday, a rumor surfaced that stated wide receiver Kenny Golladay was not at the Lions team facility on Saturday when he was supposed to be. That rumor was started by Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports.
Though it took them quite a bit of time, the Detroit media debunked the rumor, saying Golladay was at the team facilities in Allen Park and that all was well.
On Monday afternoon, Lions head coach Matt Patricia was asked about the situation and he took the opportunity to mock La Canfora.
“Kenny was here in the morning,” Patricia said. “Kenny got his COVID test. Kenny was here in the afternoon actually for some extra work on his body. Kenny was here at night, and Kenny was here at bed check. So, um, he was here.”
Looks like La Canfora was wrong once again.
