The Detroit Lions are off to a 2-0-1 start and they have a rare opportunity to go into the bye week undefeated if they can beat the 3-0 Kansas City Chiefs in Week 4.
In order to beat the Chiefs, not only does Matt Particia have to roll out a genius game plan to slow down Patrick Mahomes, and not only must the Lions defense carry out that game plan to perfection, but the Lions offense will also have to do their part.
For the offense to flourish, the offense line absolutely must give Matthew Stafford to make reads and get rid of the ball.
If the last two weeks are any indication, the OL may just be up to the task as they have not given up a single sack over that time.
Now, it is important to note that Stafford has also been a big reason as to why he has not been sacked as he has done a great job avoiding pressure and getting rid of the ball quickly when needed.
That being said, if the Lions do not give up a sack in Week 4 against the Chiefs, it will be the first time going three-straight games without allowing a single sack since 1982 when sacks became a tracked statistic.
Nation, do you think the Lions will break this franchise record by keeping Stafford clean on Sunday afternoon?
