On Monday, Larkin spoke to reporters and he said he is disappointed that he will not be able to represent Team USA in Beijing.
“Like everybody’s saying, it’s disappointing,” Larkin said. “I haven’t had the opportunity to represent the U.S. on a best-on-best tournament.”
He added that it would have been a “great honor” to represent the United States in the Olympics.
