Absolutely nothing went right for the Detroit Lions this afternoon against the Carolina Panthers.
Not only did the Lions get beat by a former XFL quarterback who had already been cut over a dozen times in the NFL, but they also failed to put any points on the board for the 1st time since October of 2009.
The Lions had never been shut out in a game that was started by QB Matthew Stafford, who was just 18 of 33 with 178 yards; he was also sacked a whopping five times.
The reaction from fans on social media was quick – and rather brutal.
