Detroit Lions rookie RB D’Andre Swift found that out the hard way on Sunday afternoon, experiencing both highs and lows. The high? Scoring his first career touchdown. The low? Dropping a would-be winning touchdown pass in the waning seconds.
It caught the attention of former Lions DT Damon “Snacks” Harrison, who immediately took to Twitter to encourage fans who may be frustrated with the game’s ending to build up the rookie rather than tear him down:
Harrison first came to the Lions during the 2018 following a trade with the New York Giants. He was released by the team in February, and is currently a free agent.
