Former Michigan LB Devin Bush Jr. won’t stop bashing Michigan State

A year ago, Devin Bush Jr. and the Michigan Wolverines went into Spartan Stadium in East Lansing, tore up the midfield logo, and then proceeded to absolutely destroy the Michigan State Spartans 21-7.

Bush Jr., who now plays for the Pittsburgh Steelers, recently joined Michigan alum Rich Eisen on the Rich Eisen Show and he did not hold back as he bashed the Spartans.

“Big memory lane – I’m super excited about that game,” Bush said on the Rich Eisen Show. “The only thing I remember from that day was 93 total yards of offense. That’s explains everything, so that’s the only thing!”

Prior to last year's matchup, as you likely remember, there was an incident at midfield with ended with Bush Jr. tearing up the Michigan State logo.

“I had a lot of green and white on the bottom of my cleats that day,” Bush said. “I had a lot of that on the bottom of my cleats. Things got real chippy out there, man. Somebody’s logo got messed up, I don’t know who did it! There was almost a brawl. I didn’t know what was going on. Then the game starts, then 93 total yards of offense.”

Bush Jr. also took the opportunity to make fun of the neon alternate uniforms the Spartans wore earlier this season.

“It was so bad though, you see the jerseys they started wearing? You didn’t see their new jerseys? They got these neon jerseys that say ‘state’ across the front of them and I don’t think – I wouldn’t have made that design. I would have made that in the dark, for real.”
