A Celebration of Life service was held at Detroit’s Fox Theater on Wednesday in honor of the late Mike Ilitch, who owned both the Detroit Red Wings and Detroit Tigers.
Among the guests in attendance was none other than President George W. Bush. The former Chief Executive spoke warmly about Ilitch, and remembered him as both a patriot and a family man.
