ESPN’s Adam Schefter set the sports world on fire last month when he reported that 3-time NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers is upset with Green Bay Packers management and allegedly wants out.
There’s been additional drama between the two sides, leading to rampant speculation that the two sides are soon headed for a messy divorce. And while fans are awaiting on pins and needles as to the next potential destination of Rodgers, it looks like the Packers have already moved on.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Packers are signing veteran quarterback Blake Bortles:

Bortles had already spent time in a similar offense with current Packers offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett while the pair were members of the Jacksonville Jaguars. Originally drafted by Jacksonville in 2014, Bortles has appeared in 78 career NFL games and has thrown 103 touchdowns with 17,649 yards. He spent last year with the Los Angeles Rams as backup to now-Lions quarterback Jared Goff.
