When Bob Quinn took over as general manager of the Detroit Lions, he stressed the importance of building roster depth and always looking to improve.

According to reports, on Tuesday, the Lions worked out former Chicago Bears safety Harold Jones-Quartey.

Jones-Quartey, who is 24-years-old, was originally signed in 2015 as an undrafted rookie free agent by the Arizona Cardinals. He was waived by the Cardinals prior to the start of the 2015 season and claimed off waivers by the Chicago Bears.

During his last two seasons in the Windy City, Jones-Quartey started 16 of the 29 games he played in, recording 103 tackles and intercepting two passes.
