LSU QB Joe Burrow ties bowl game TD record…in first half

If you are a fan of the LSU Tigers, you just witnessed one of the most impressive first halves of football you will ever see.

On Saturday, during the first National Semifinal game, LSU absolutely dominated Oklahoma in the first half to the tune of 49-14.

In the half, Heisman Trophy winner Joe Burrow completed 21-of-27 passes for 403 yards and 7 touchdowns.

The 7 touchdown passes, according to ESPN Stats & Info, ties the bowl record for most TD passes in a game!

That’s right, folks, Joe Burrows tied the bowl game TD record in one half!
