It has been a season to forget for Matt Prater and the Detroit Lions but in their final game of the 2020 season, there was a bit of a silver lining as Prater broke an NFL record.
Following a dropped pass, Prater came on for the Lions and connected on a 54-yard field goal, which moved him out of a tie with Sebastian Janikowski for the most 50-yard field goals in NFL history.
Congrats, Matt!
Here is the record kick.
