Prior to getting injured and missing the final eight games of the 2019 season, Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford was playing at a very high level. In fact, some would say he was playing at an MVP level.

The hope was that Stafford, who has said his injured back is now 100%, would continue where he left off a year ago and help make the Lions offense one of the most feared units in the NFL.
Unfortunately, the Lions are off to a 1-3 start and though there is plenty of blame to go around, Stafford says he has to play better and he is looking in the mirror first and foremost.
