It's been a busy few days in the world of recruiting for Michigan State. This past Sunday, they got a verbal commit from 3-star quarterback Theo Day (Dearborn, MI). Two days later, however, 4-star Ohio wide receiver Joseph Scates decommitted from the Spartans.
And now in another 48-hour span, MSU is getting another commit. This one comes courtesy of 3-star cornerback Christian Jackson (Marietta, GA).

Jackson (6-foot-1, 185 pounds) is listed as the No. 75 cornerback in the country and No. 80 player in the state of Georgia. He made an unofficial visit to MSU this past Sunday, February 26.
Jackson had received a scholarship offer for 2018 from the Spartans back in February 6, one of five schools to formally offer the Marietta-native thus far. He also has offers from Georgia State, Massachusetts, Wake Forest and West Virginia. Jackson has made unofficial visits to in-state rival Michigan as well as North Carolina, all of which stem back to June of 2016.
The pledge of Jackson ups the total number of MSU commits for the Class of 2018 back to four. In addition to Jackson and the aforementioned Theo Day, the Spartans have verbal commits from a pair of Pickerington Central (OH) teammates in 4-star athlete Xavier Henderson and 4-star tight end Trenton Gillison.
