Per The Athletic’s Shams Charania, Detroit Pistons point guard Derrick Rose will be competing in the NBA All-Star Skills Competition that takes place the Saturday during NBA All-Star Weekend, February 15th.
The event is being held in Rose’s hometown of Chicago where he will certainly be the crowd favorite.

Rose actually won the event back in 2009 as a rookie playing for the Chicago Bulls and hopes to duplicate his efforts this time around.
The skills competition is designed to measure how fast a player can dribble, pass, and shoot through a series of obstacles.
