Report: Almost nobody wanted ex-Lions S Quandre Diggs prior to trade

It seems like a large percent of Detroit Lions fans are not too thrilled that Bob Quinn decided to trade Quandre Diggs to the Seahawks for a fifth-round draft pick.

Most seem to believe that the Seahawks got the better end of the deal, considering Diggs is just 26 and was a team captain.

Well, according to Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press, Quinn shopped Diggs around to the entire league with very little interest in the safeties services.

From Detroit Free Press:

Diggs’ play had declined this year to the point that the Lions shopped him to the entire league in recent days with very little interest. But as they enter a crucial stretch of games still within striking distance of the playoffs, they took a calculated risk in trading away one of the most beloved players in their locker room.

Is it possible that Bob Quinn actually pulled a quick one in the Seattle Seahawks?
