According to a report from Howard Balzer, the Detroit Lions worked out a handful of players prior to their trip to Oakland to take on the Raiders.
Balzer is reporting that the Lions worked out RBs Jay Ajayi and Bo Scarbrough, along with TEs Nick O'Leary, Richard Rodgers (yes, that Richard Rodgers), and Matt Sokol.

All five players left Detroit without a contract.
Who knows, maybe if Jay Ajayi had been signed, the Lions would have called a different play on their final offensive play of the game.
