Just pump the breaks a little bit there, Detroit Lions fans.
Following yesterday's contract extension for Taylor Decker, reports began to surface that the team was getting close to a deal with WR Kenny Golladay.
However, according to ESPN's Ian Rapoport, that may be premature.
Rapoport tweeted moments ago that contrary to initial reports, the two sides have yet to begin work on a deal, and that nothing is imminent.
Golladay is coming off a career season in 2019, in which he set personal bests in receiving yards (1,190) and touchdowns (11).
