Will Jim Harbaugh leave for the NFL or will he sign a contract extension with the University of Michigan?
As we have previously written, our sources indicate that Harbaugh will remain at Michigan and that he will sign an extension before the Wolverines “play their next game.”
To be fair, that would mean an announcement would come this week before the Ohio State game (unlikely to be played), or before the Wolverines play their Championship Week game the week following.
Well, according to John U. Bacon, who ALWAYS has his ear close to the Michigan program, it is very likely that an announcement “one way or the other” will be made this week.
To answer your follow-up: my sources are telling me probably not today, but very likely this week.
