RUMOR: Michigan decides on next head basketball coach

Matt St. Jean, who is the lead color broadcaster for Providence, claims to have a source who has informed him that Friars’ head coach Ed Cooley intends to accept a deal to replace John Beilein at Michigan.

According to Michigan insider Sam Webb, this is premature and Wolverines’ athletic director Warde Manuel still plans on interviewing Juwan Howard on Tuesday.
