It was Game 5 of the 1984 World Series. San Diego Padres future-HOFer Goose Gossage is on the mound, and up to bat steps Kirk Gibson. This was the deciding game of the series, in which the Tigers capped a magnificent season, but Gibby’s home run was the cherry on top.
