The GOAT just keeps on going.
Following the 2020 NFL regular season, Tom Brady helped lead the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a Super Bowl Championship, at the age of 43!
Brady said in 2009 that he wanted to play until he was 41 and then, in 2017, he upped his expectations said he would like to play into his mid-forties.
Now, Brady is 44, and when asked about retirement by Peter King, he did not give an age but instead said that he will hang up his cleats when he is “not a championship-level quarterback.” Brady added that as long as he thinks he can win a championship, he will keep suiting up.
From Football Morning in America:
“I’ll know when the time’s right,” Brady said about retirement. “If I can’t . . . if I’m not a championship-level quarterback, then I’m not gonna play. If I’m a liability to the team, I mean, no way. But if I think I can win a championship, then I’ll play.”
Nation, when do you think Brady will retire?
I think if his knee is not totally healed and gives him trouble this year he will hang’em up after this season. If it doesn’t though he’ll retire after next year.
