It has been another painful season for Detroit Red Wings fans but they may get a little bit of joy at some point this week.
According to Red Wings head coach Jeff Blashill, there is a possibility that Joe Veleno makes his NHL debut at some point this week. Blashill added that the expectation is that Veleno will play center.

Veleno, who is 21, is one of the Red Wings' top 5 prospects. In 46 games with the Malmo Redhawks this season, he scored 11 goals to go along with 12 assists.
Possibility Joe Veleno makes Red Wings debut this week, but has yet to be cleared. Expectation is he plays at center spot.
