Tigers fans are very familiar with outfielder Rajai Davis, having spent two seasons in Detroit back in 2014-15. His calling card has always been his speed, and it was on full display Tuesday against the Angels.
Watch as Davis smokes a ball towards Angels first baseman (and another former Tiger) Jefry Marte that gets away and allows Davis to get on his horse for the eventual ‘little league' home run.

Officially, the play was ruled a triple for Davis and he scored on the throwing error from Danny Espinosa. It put Oakland ahead 6-4, but the A's lost the game 7-6 thanks to a 3-run homer from the aforementioned Espinosa.
Davis, 36, signed a one-year deal with Oakland this past offseason. He played for the A's from 2008-10 and had arguably his best season as an Athletic in 2009. The 12-year veteran Davis has 365 career steals, good for third among active players behind Ichiro (Age 43, 508 steals) and Jose Reyes (Age 34, 488).
