Following their loss to the Houston Texans on Thanksgiving Day, the Detroit Lions announced they had fired both head coach Matt Patricia and GM Bob Quinn.
According to the Lions, they have not only began their search for a new general manager but they have already conducted interviews with three internal candidates.
Those candidates, as reported by the Lions just moments ago are Kyle O’Brien (VP of Player Personnel), Lance Newmark (Director of Player Personnel), and Rob Lohman (Director of Pro Scouting).
Now, before you lose your mind, please remember that the Lions cannot yet interview any candidate who currently works for another NFL organization. Those interviews will certainly come.
Nation, do you have any interest in the Lions hiring from the inside or would you prefer they look outside the organization?
