Wednesday was early signing day for college football and one of the top receivers in the nation, Xavier Worthy had a big decision to make between Michigan and Alabama. Would he decide to stay committed to Jim Harbaugh and the Wolverines or would he flip to Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide?
Well, Worthy has made his decision and he has recommitted to Michigan.
From The Michigan Insider:
“It’s just what my heart felt,” Worthy told The Michigan Insider when previewing his decision Tuesday.
That feeling never left him despite rampant speculation about Jim Harbaugh’s future as the Wolverines’ coach. Michigan’s headman addressed the topic head on and gave his would-be playmaker all the reassurance he needed.
“He told me he really is not going nowhere,” said Worthy. “I’m a person that just blocks all the outside out. I’m really just making the decision on my own.”
This is a HUGE get for the Wolverines as Worthy is extremely fast and he will soon be a big threat for the Wolverines.
