The Detroit Pistons lost at home to the Boston Celtics tonight 104-98.
Much of the blame is being placed on Pistons point guard Reggie Jackson who hoisted up a deep three (shooting 36% on the year) with the Pistons up one point in the final minute.
Jackson missed, the Celtics got the rebound, and rookie forward Jaylen Brown subsequently hit a three on the other end to give the Celtics a 98-96 lead that they wouldn’t relinquish.
Detroit still holds the eighth spot in the East but are only a game ahead of the Miami Heat.
