According to a report from Adam Schefter, teams are already reaching out to the Detroit Lions to see what it would cost to acquire Matthew Stafford.
News surfaced on Saturday that Stafford has requested to be traded and that the Lions are going to try and make that happen.
Plenty of teams are expected to bid on the former No. 1 overall pick but the Colts, 49ers, and Patriots are the early favorites.
At this point, I’d expect a 1st round pick and more in return for Stafford as there are multiple teams who are on the verge of contending for a Super Bowl but need a solid QB.
The question is not if Stafford will get traded, the question is, when?
Teams already are reaching out to the Detroit Lions to initiate trade talks and figure out what it would take to acquire QB Matthew Stafford, per sources.
