The search for the next general manager of the Detroit Lions continues, and right now, it seems as though one candidate may have emerged as the front-runner.
Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Brad Holmes is traveling to Detroit to meet personally with the Lions. Holmes, who is the director of college scouting for the Los Angeles Rams, has already interviewed for the position via Zoom:

Per team president Rod Wood, the Lions intended to interview personally with whomever emerged as “finalists” for the position:
“Once I think we zero in on a finalist or two for either position, we’re definitely going to meet with them in person,” Wood said.
Holmes has been in his current role with the Rams for nearly eight years, and has also been interviewing with the Atlanta Falcons for their GM vacancy. During his time with the Rams, they’ve secured such talents as Aaron Donald and Jared Goff.
