Could the Dallas Cowboys trash soon become the Detroit Lions treasure?

Former Michigan DE Taco Charlton wanted out of Dallas and the Cowboys have granted his wish by releasing him.

Charlton was originally selected by the Cowboys with the No. 28 pick in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft.

Now that he is available, Detroit Lions GM Bob Quinn should pick up the phone and get Charlton to Allen Park as soon as possible.

Charlton would not be expected to come in and start but he would be a nice backup for Romeo Okwara and Trey Flowers at the defensive end position.

What do you think, Nation? Should the Lions sign Taco Charlton?
