Detroit Lions rookie running back D’Andre Swift has reportedly been working hard to get back onto the field with his teammates and that work has paid off as he is expected to play on Sunday against the Green Bay Packers.
But according to a report from Adam Schefter, the Lions got a scare on Sunday morning when Swift’s COVID-19 test came back “invalid.” Luckily, after rerunning the test, it came back negative and Swift has been cleared to play vs. the Packers.
Lions got a scare this morning: RB D'Andre Swift's test came back as "invalid", per league sources, and they had to rerun it. Once they did, it came back clean and Swift now is cleared to play today vs. Packers, per source.
