It’s a milestone marker for Darius Slay today against the Minnesota Vikings.
The Detroit Lions cornerback is appearing in his 100th game with the franchise, and in doing so joins Dick LeBeau, Lem Barney & Bruce McNorton as the only CBs to appear in 100 games for Detroit.
“It’s a blessing,” he said ahead of the team’s matchup against Minnesota. “A lot of people don’t see 100 games, but I’m seein’ ’em. … A hundred games with one team, that’s a lot. I hope it continues here, see how many more games I’ve got left.”
Slay played college ball at Mississippi State and was drafted by the Lions in the second round of the 2013 NFL Draft.
