Never Forget!
Darius Slay certainly does not forget the Detroit Lions loss to the Dallas Cowboys in the 2014 NFL Playoffs, you know, the one where the Lions got screwed!
During a recent appearance with Bryant McFadden on the All Things Covered podcast, Slay said he would never play for the Cowboys because they cheated the Lions.
From 97.1 the Ticket:
“They cheated us in the playoffs in 2014.”
“When Dez Bryant ran up on the field, they pulled the flag, yeah, they cheated us.”
“I heard Dallas had wanted to trade for me. I said, ‘Nah, I ain’t going there.’ No sir,” said Slay.
“I wasn’t going to Dallas,” he said. “I couldn’t stand them. They cheated us.”
“It runs deep,” he said. “Runs deep.”
