On Sunday, the Detroit Lions will look to improve to 3-3 when they hit the road to take on the Atlanta Falcons.
But prior to this weekend’s game, you can expect the Lions will sign a free agent to fill an opening they have on their practice squad.
One player to keep an eye on is WR/RB Taquan Mizzell who, according to reports, worked out for the Lions earlier in the week. Mizzell, who turned 27 today, spent time with the Chicago Bears from 2017-18, where he played in 12 games. During those games, Mizzell had just nine carries for 16 yards while also catching eight passes for 78 yards and a touchdown.
Here are Mizzell’s highlights from his final season at the University of Virginia.
