Are the Detroit Lions about to lose their QBs coach?

As the 2019 NFL regular season has come to an end, there will be a handful of teams looking to hire a new head coach.

One potential candidate who has been mentioned plenty already is Baylor head coach, Matt Rhule.

According to recent reports, Rhule is “in serious” play for the New York Giants‘ head coaching position.

That being said, as mentioned by Manish Mehta, the New York Jets loved Ruhle during their coaching search last year but Rhule wanted then-Texans assistant Sean Ryan but the Jets did not approve.

Ryan is currently the quarterbacks' coach for the Detroit Lions and you can bet Rhule will come calling again if he lands a head coaching gig.
